I finally just stuck with re-entering every single command as I went through the program. For instance when I was trying to put in a program of multiple milling moves, it kept dropping variables I'd entered anytime I went back to edit. ![]() ![]() The book seems nearly useless until you know a little more about how the control works, then it starts making a little sense. Coming from over 30 years of Fanuc, Mitsubishi, GE, Siemens, Grundig, Houdaille, Allen Bradley, Cincinnati and other NC/CNC controls, that "conversational" ProtoTRAK Plus control is like nothing else I've run. Glad to be of help, and my thanks to AllianceFab (Jason) because he had sold me my machine for an unbelievable price and then came down to my shop to give me the hands-on training on that control.
